We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. CTIC collects information from our visitors at several different points on our web site.

Visitor agrees to hold CTIC, their subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, representatives and suppliers harmless from any claims and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and court costs, related to visitor's violation of this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the Rules of Conduct or any information, software or other content placed on the Service by visitor.

Choice of Law

This Agreement shall be construed and controlled by the laws of the State of Indiana. Visitor agrees to exclusive personal jurisdiction by the courts sitting in Tippecanoe County, State of Indiana.

Various pages of this website require a visitor to complete a registration form. During registration, a visitor is required to give contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the visitor about the services for which they have expressed interest.

We request information from the visitor on our order form. Here a visitor must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill visitor's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the visitor’s hard drive containing information about the visitor. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the visitor closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track visitor's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill visitors for goods and services. These companies do not store, share, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, CTIC, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our visitors to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.

This web site takes every precaution to protect our visitors’ information. When visitors submit sensitive information via the web site, your information is protected both online and off-line.

All sensitive registration/order information (such as credit card number) is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry (SSL). While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just ‘surfing'. Click to learn more about SSL.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect visitor-information off-line. All of our visitors' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can send an email to support@conservationinformation.org.

Special Offers

Established CTIC members and partners will be invited to subscribe to our online magazine and may occasionally receive information on news items, products, services and special events. Out of respect for the privacy of our visitors we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below.

Correction/Updating Personal Information

If a visitor's personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a visitor no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that visitor's personal data provided to us. This can be done by sending an email to support@conservationinformation.org.

Visitors can ‘opt-out' of our mailings by sending an email to support@conservationinformation.org. Visitors who buy a product from us, but don't want any additional information sent to them, can keep their email address off of our lists by also sending an email to support@conservationinformation.org.

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from CTIC are made pursuant to a shipment contract. In a shipment contract, the risk of loss is moved from CTIC to the buyer, once CTIC properly delivers the goods to the carrier

Items that have not been used may be returned or exchanged within 30 days from date of purchase. All returns/exchanges must be accompanied with the sales receipt. Purchaser is responsible for $6.00 additional shipping/handling fee on exchanges and returns. Delivery charges are non-refundable. No COD returns/exchanges are accepted.
